By Saturday I should be playing around with a TNC, wonder what to expect in the Tampa Brandon area.

Well, I'm in St. Petersburg (54th. Ave.N # 71st. St. N., west of Kenneth City), so I have no way to work into the Brandon area directly. Take care and 73 de KF4KUL

Something to check out.....

I have no clue about nodes around here anymore, but let me check. Digipeaters, well there are the APRS digis, but there is basically no voice, but maybe direct connect? Let me set up my TNC and a radio for 144.390 MHz and I will play around to see if I can direct connect to some APRS TNC stations. I keep you posted

I have the KPC-2 working, well, it appears to be but no one to connect to. I have heard three different stations on the packet freq's but they are doing RMS Winlink. I have acquired another TNC last night (Kam Plus) that I will set up also just to make sure they connect and work. I have been leaving the kpc-2 it on different freq's for a while to see what I hear. This morning I have mine on 145.09.
