Hey, I'm in Portland, Oregon. I didn't get into APRS back when it was cheap and Altoids-tin-based. Now it seems like everything is expensive and complicated.
Getting started with AX25 and WSPR too. I don't want to dedicate a machine to it, I want to do it on a headless (non-graphical) Pi or Arduino. Seems like there's a lot of software for old Windows machines.

You will find, as soon as I post the content, that APRS would be relatively cheap and require little effort to get going. I dont even bother with a hardware TNC for APRS applications
